rockscluster HPC


I have installed rockcluster 5.2 with One frontnode and 2 compute nodes.
Also have instllaed HPC and SGE roll in this.

Now how can I run some application like postfix etc or any other program on cluster with HPC capabilites.

needed some clue and ideas to proceed further.

Few applications are cluster-aware. Many are multi-threaded (able to take advantage of multiple cores, smp, etc.) but applications in the domain you are describing require use of message passing. Most old UNIX favorites will not capitalize on this.

Also, I don't think you installed "HPC." HPC is lingo, not an application. If I could install HPC, I'd be a very successful contractor.

What applications I can used in rockclustser?

I installed HPC roles as different roles are avaiable during installation.
