RHEL 7 Installation Problem

During installation of RHEL 7 in multiple systems we are facing same issue again and again. We have created pxeboot setup through which we are able to start installation of RHEL 7. After booting up it is showing some warnings like dracut-initqueue timeout and at last it is giving us one recovery shell prompt.

I am also attaching report generated during that installation for more detail.

Regards,
Bhushan Karia

Can you try a installation directly (not with pxe)?

No direct installation is not feasible because those server does not have VGA Cards, and as far as I know direct installation require VGA Cards.

Since you're using RHEL 7 and you've already generated an SOS report, the obvious question is "Have you contacted Red Hat support, and if not, why not?" You're paying for your use of RHEL 7, right?? Especially if you're setting up multiple servers with it. Contact RHEL support, and they can easily assist in getting your SOS report analyzed, and get you going.

Dear All,

Thanks for your replies, finally we are able to resolve this problem by adding inst.repo=<location of repo> in kernel parameters. This is must in case of EL7. In case of EL6 it was asking for this during installation in case of pxe boot.

Thanks & Regards,
Bhushan Karia
