RedHat EL - Make a boot tape and Restore system

Hi all,
How can I make a boot tape of my rhel system?
How can I restore my system after making the tape?

Are there others methods of backup?

I must start an activity on my server for the first time and I need a backup tape bootable of entire system, and I must know how restore it in case of failover.

Thanks

Pietro

I doubt you can use tape, but there are utilities that I've used to make bootable ISO's, suitable for CDROM/DVD booting and recovery.

Google for mkcdrec and mondoarchive. I've used both, and both work very well. Even can support network booting as well. Good luck.
