I am going to practice with RedHat Cluster suite, on RHEL 5.2
I am getting confused about the Cluster suite package,
In my RHEL 5.2 DVD I have two direcotries with the name Cluster and ClusterStorage.
Cluster direcory have the packges like luci, ricci, rgamanager , pirhana,system-config-cluster etc
and clusterStorage direcoty contail gfs, lvm2 ,gnbd etc packages.
Now my question is that , I did no find the package rpms like cman, ccs etc. Is that my rhel5.2 64bits DVD alright? are the packages mentioned above or enough to configure the cluster.?pls help me out ,
thank you in advance
thank you for your reply, but the documents I read from REDHAT.COM say it need cman, ccs rpms etc, are they unnecessary in rhel5.2 dvd? or integrated in other rpms?
Maybe I do not have the installation number and my colleague tolde me that in the Redhat5.2,the RHCS and GFS have been integreated into the whole rhel5.2 software package.
If you have some installation numbers, you can use them seperately for the certain service which the installion number provided, for example, while installing the linux system, you select a certain installtion number XXXXX,and the number provided RHCS+GFS application besides the linux system.
And if I do not have the installation number and I want the Rhcs+gfs application, how to do it ???use the yum server>?>>?
