Thumbs down Problem with SquirrelMail

Dear all,

My SquirrelMail is not working properly from yesterday. The problem is

When i try to send any mail using the web interface, it says

"Authentication Failed Server replied: 535 Error:authentication failed"

I have searched in google but didnt find any solutions. What might

be causing the problem? Please help me out.

Dear all,

Thanks for ur reply. There is no comments on the maillog. Actually the problem was in i have enabled chroot for smtp service. That was causing this problem. When i disabled it, the problem disappeared.
