Question Problem installing VLC in RHEL 5.1 Client


Hello everybody. I am using RHEL 5.1 Client. I have downloaded the rpm for VLC with file name "vlc-0.8.6d-2.el5.rf.i386.rpm". But when I try to install it with "rpm -ivh vlc-0.8.6d-2.el5.rf.i386.rpm" command it shows the lack of following dependencies :

What should i install to get all the dependencies? Can anybody help me? If possible please provide the full version of VLC player. Thanks in advance.

The best method is to use yum. Setup the DAG yum repository and then as root run

yum -y install vlc

I don't have an internet connection. Moreover i'd like to install it offline.

Unfortunately this means that you will have to download all the required dependencies yourself.

can you please post the links for the dependencies. I have downloaded the Mad and Libmpeg Dependency files. What else do i need.
