Smile Postgres Installation on Linux

We have a Red Hat Linux Advanced Server 3.0 installed.

Out of the total 120 GB hard disk, 80 GB is consumed by Oracle Applications

Now, we want to install Postgres. We installed the .rpm files

But, we are not able to bring the Postgres up and running.
