Hello,
I have a Postfix server running on CentOS 6.2
There are times when some (not all) emails won't get sent. The bulk of the emails are being sent but there are a few (unfortunately the emails NOT being sent are important Accounting ones) that aren't and they all have the same errors...(I had to change my domain name...sorry...)
Code:
May 22 10:16:07 smtp2 postfix/smtp[2611]: 79E7E615C7: to=<rafim@example.com>, relay=bizmail.sbcglobal.net[207.115.36.26]:25, delay=1572, delays=1381/0/0.16/190, dsn=4.4.1, status=deferred (host bizmail.sbcglobal.net[207.115.36.26] said: 421 4.4.1 collect: read timeout on connection from smtp2.example.com, from=<purchasing@example.com> (in reply to end of DATA command))
Few notes.
1) Yes I've checked all DNS entries. my smtp server resolves both forward and backwards (I never suspected DNS since MOST emails are being sent)
2) I've increased the message_size_limit to 20480000
Any ideas?
