performance of various disks...

how could i compare the performance of 3 differennt groupings of disks to get a RL assesment of their speeds access times etc..

I have a local U320 SCSI raid 1 hardware array( presented as a logical disk to the OS)

i also have a SAN disk over FC that i would also like to compare and finally

I have two seperate SAN disks in an raid1 mdadm configuration...

are there any good ways to benchmark... ?
