Non Standard LUN: How to pass info to installer?

I am installing servers who drives are a logical volumes on a RAID fibre channel storage array.
The LUNS range between 0 and 31. The HBA's are Qlogic 2200's.
The Qlogic card can see all of the LUNS and I can pick the volume to install to while in FASTutil.

The problem is, Linux (RHEL4 in my case) is never able to see anything but LUNS 0/1 on each controller.

Is there some way of passing the LUN to the installer at the install prompt? For example, say I would like to install this blade on LUN 0,31, how can I get Linux to see and use that specific volume?

PS: Yes, I've some basic things such as max_luns=256 and that does not work.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
