Madcap/ multicats IP server?
re-posting this here, seems more appropriate.
I tried a search but turned up nothing. Not sure if this has been covered before and I just suck at searching. I need to set up a MADCAP server for a series of Windows clusters. I try to make critical systems Linux when I can, and this would be a great one. However, I am just newbie enough to get lost in new areas. I am unfamiliar with IP multicast servers, and not even sure if it is possible in Linux. If it is, can anyone direct me to some resources? In Windows networks, MADCAP is a subset of DHCp. Will this be the same in a Linux server? We use Redhat ES 3.0. |
