Lightbulb Linux on Sequent has it been done?

It occured to me today when looking at all the Sequent kit we have laying about that due to the System being Intel chips it should be able to run Linux. Hopefully with little modification...
Has this been tried already? Is there Kernel and architecture support out there for things such as the S5000 and NUMA-Q?

Sequent supports dynix pretty well.
Currently we are migrating our applications from a sequent box running dynix to an IBM box running linux. once this migration is complete by end of March, I shall try to load Linux on to the box.
I am not sure if the box would be able to take it up as the module drivers availablity is a question.
Lets try anyway. Will keep you posted.
Cheers!!
