kernel compilation
 

i am currently using rhel 3.0 kernel 2.4 version.
now i want to upgrade my kernel to 2.6. plz tell me the whole process in details.from where should i get source code of new kernel.tell me from start to end.

As a side note, with the RHEL you are only guaranteed stability with RHEL kernels, so you may want to consider upgrading to RHEL4 instead.
