HW raid5 or raid1, & how many drives?
 
I have an old dell poweredge 2550 with 5 drives. My main goal is fault tolerance, I don't want to loose my data if a drive fails. This is a home machine, it does not need to run 24/7.
what would be a good drive configuration?

raid5: 5 drives
raid5: 4 drives, 1 hot spare
raid1: 2 raid1 containers, remaining drive?
