When I installing rpm on a chinse language machine
I got the following message

ÒÑ?°²? ttfonts-zh_CN-2.14-12.el4 Ì×¼þ


locale setting of my setting is given bewlow

Can any one know why "??°²?ÓõÄÌ×¼þ..."message come

expected message is like this: Preparing packages for installation...

Does this happen with any rpm installation or just with this one?

Also, have you upgraded your system to the latest?
