Question configuring syslog.

Hi,

I would like to know how to configure syslog.conf in Red Hat Linux 5.0, so that it can send the all the messages to another log server.

what parameter needs to added in /etc/syslog.conf.

http://linux.about.com/od/commands/l...l5_syslogc.htm

just add entries to @hostname instead of /a/file/location

...additionally also please make a distinction between "Red Hat Linux" (defunct ages ago and replaced by Fedora) and "Red Hat Enterprise Linux". If you run the latter and it's really at 5.0 then it's 9 updates behind. Not good performance and improvement-wise but definitely not good security and bug fix-wise.
