command to find sound card in RHEL version 3

I am looking for a command to find the sound card in Redhat Enterprise Linux ES version 3.
It should show what sound card is installed on that system.

If you have the hwinfo utility installed, 'hwinfo --sound' would show you that information.

I tried hwinfo --sound but command is not working.

I tried hwinfo --sound and replied back by saying hwinfo command not found.
Is there any other command to get sound card information in Redhat Enterprise Linux ES version 3 update7.

/sbin/lspci should give you a clue of what type of soundcard is installed?
