wget http://64.124.52.228:80, then it says

Retrying.
--23:01:27-- (try: 2) http://64.124.52.228/

--23:07:50-- (try: 4) http://64.124.52.228/
Connecting to 64.124.52.228:80... failed: Connection timed out.
Retrying.
--23:11:03-- (try: 5) http://64.124.52.228/
Connecting to 64.124.52.228:80...

I am using the same server as a Proxy server too. It uses port number 3128. Is there anything to be done with the iptables ?? If this is because of port number then how can i change the default port number to 3128??

Please help me ..... Thanking you all in advance ....

Even tho you can ping 64.124.52.228, are you sure it has an accessable website? Have you tried wget'ing other websites?
