I'm almost so far that LDAP is working, but keep seeing this problemen again and again.

This problem shows up when i try to let a Windows XP machine join the domain.
Does anybody have an idee how i can solve this problem ??

After long searching and a bottle of old finest scotts whiskey, i was able to find a solution for this problem.
But after that i got a new error message, but first i sall tell you how i solved the problem about when not root ...

Just edit the GIDnumber and UIDnumber to zero "0" from the person you want to have write access to the Samba and LDAP stuff.




NEW PROBLEM :

After i just edit the GIDnumber and UIDnumber to zero i got this new problem, maybe I need a nother bottle of whiskey to figur this out.

Does anybody have a idee how to sove this ????

Remove this account vinctest$'s all sambaSamAccount or other objectClass 's all object, in a other word, add a pure posixAccount account, and try again.
