Broadcom Nelink(TM) Fast Ethernet card not detected in RHEL 5
 
I have installed RHEL 5 on my Dell Vostro 1400 laptop.But my Broadcom Netlink(TM) Ethernet card is not detected.
when i do /sbin/lspci -v The output is : i have attached relevant information only.

09:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation Unknown device 1713 (rev 02)

Could anyone help me out please

It may work with the tg3 module. To see if present in current kernel run the command as root. ' /sbin/modprobe tg3 ' If you get and error then you will need to recompile the kernel and enable this module under the 1000mb section of the config menu. Called Broadcomm Tigon 3.

If that does not work then look into ndiswrapper and use the windows inf driver.
