Best Practices for fsck
Hello,
I am trying to find out the best file system(ext4/xfs) for my environment. Found below url shows some best Practices with fsck https://access.redhat.com/site/docum...e/ch-fsck.html But as per the link I have take a metadata copy of a file system and I need to do dry run for this. Can some help in taking metadata copy and doing dry run. Regards, Rajesh. |
The e2image command will create that sparse image file for ext2/3/4. It should have been installed as part of the "e2fsprogs" package in RedHat-like systems. See the e2image manpage for details.
