Apache2: ProxyPass working fine on LAN, says Bad Gateway from outside...

Here's my httpd.conf's Virtual Host Section:

NameVirtualHost *:80
<VirtualHost *:80>
  ServerName localhost
  DocumentRoot /var/www/html

  ProxyPass /jira http://localhost:8080/jira
  ProxyPassReverse /jira http://localhost:8080/jira

  ProxyPass /hudson http://localhost:8080/hudson
  ProxyPassReverse /hudson http://localhost:8080/hudson

  ProxyPreserveHost off
It works perfectly fine on our corporate LAN (say the machine running this apache is called 'apacheserver', the urls
Code: (OR http://apacheserver/jira)
Code: (OR http://apacheserver/hudson)
work fine).

From the outside world, we have port forwarded to this machine (in our firewall) through port; say 18931

works fine and shows the website being served by apache, however

return 'Bad Gateway', any ideas why this might be happening?
