Anyone setup reposync for RHEL servers?

Have hardened our RH Satellite and we can't patch from it right now.

Have found an alternative, called reposync, however I'm wondering if others have done this and how it works out for them?

Seems like alot of work, espeically if you are running different versions of RHEL and you also have to have the space on each server.
