Hello all:

I met the following error during the install of RedHat Enterprise 4.0

I have double-checked the .iso file and still cannot find the reason.

What should I do to fix this problem?

Did you do a media-check? ("linux mediacheck" at the boot: prompt?)

Best bet - burn another disk from the iso and install from that.

Replace the media, just because you can see a file does not mean it is fully readable. Did you check the downloaded ISO files before using?? Try copying the file from the CD to someplace and if you get errors then something happened during the process of downloading and burning the media.

Skip the installation of the system-config-printer packages and install them later from RHN.
