[Redhat] [RHEL] Compatible fonts list

Hi

Anyone know the list of the compatible fonts on the last versions of RHEL?

To know this, you can simply open a console and type "fc-list -v" (it lists all the avaible fonts on the sistem, I think); but i haven't a RHEL machine to test it.
(mayble another command to know this, be "xlsfonts").

Thanks

Thank you very much!

Thi is the list of the fonts installed on the system.

Do you know if these are only the base fonts, or you have installed some additional font packets (like "corefonts")?

I ask these question because I want that my applications are compatible with my customers (that uses RHEL, Suse SLES, IBM AIX) without the need of installing extra fonts in the system, but I haven't a SLES machine in this moment to test.
I could try with a simple Fedora or CentOS live CD; but maybe they added some proprietary fonts in a commercial distribution (for example Microsoft fonts) and in a completely open distro I don't see them.

On my installations I don't pick any additional fonts so I assume the above are what one gets by "default". (Of course on RHEL "default" is a bit of a misnomer - one selects package groups to install and those are what would contains the fonts along with other packages.

Isn't there any option to ask the system: use the default sans serif (or serif) font the user defined? AFAIK there is something in KDE or Gnome for it. Then you wouldn't have to care about the actual font.
