which version of glibc should i use for the toolchain...?
hi..
For last few days I was so much involved in generating toolchain for cross-compiler for Beagleboard that I was not aware of it that President of my country has changed.
But still I am not able to create the proper chain. Assembly is being created successfully for the ARM specific Board. but error occures... that Can not create executables.
Came to know that it is the problem due to crt1.o and crti.o
Studied a lot about that. Got this conclusion...
I am using fedora-15
linux-2.6.10
gcc-4.5.1
newlib-1.20.0
binutil-2.20.1
.
.
.
my gcc looks for arm specific crt1.o...
but my newlib provides crt0.o.
.
.
I want to know that , is it a path mistake or I am using incompatible versions??
.
.
If these are incompatible, then can anyone please tell me the perfact combination...??
.
.
And what if I use glibc instead of newlib..??
Which version of glibc should be used with gcc-4.5.1...??
Waiting 4 replies...
