Timeouts in the USB Gadget API

Hello!
I was looking into the gadgetfs module to have my embedded device transfer data to a host.
However it does not seem to support timeouts!
Now before i start writing my own gadget driver I would like to know if timeouts in general are supported in the Gadget API?
Or is there a way to have gadgetfs use timeouts?
The famous usb.c example does not support them.
Thanks in advance!
