spca5xx for ARM
 
Hi every one,

Do you have any idea about what parameters has to be changed for spca5xx usb webcam driver to work on ARM architecture?I am using IXP425 board which has ARMv5TE core. Thank you in advance.:scratch:

I believe Openwrt supports some ARM devices and has this driver working.

Thank you very much for the reply. I gone through the above mentioned site, but did'nt got spca drivers for IXP425.
Is there any documents for cross compiling drivers? I googled but did'nt got any information.

Sorry I'm not familiar with cross-compiling for ARM, and don't even know the differences between different ARM versions. Are they all binary compatible? A better link is

which lists several ports of the webcam driver, including ARM, with detailed HOWTOs. Perhaps one of those would be a good guide? I see in one case the driver is provided as a patch against a particular kernel version.
