arm-linux-gcc: /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by arm-linux-gcc)

Um.. what distribution? bad subject title? whats your end goal?

You need to provide a little more information next time.

Welcome to Linux Questions.

I can see you are asking this for the
second time. It is not possible (for anybody)
to answer without the following information :

1) Your host distribution : Linux, name , version.
(And is 'glibc-devel' installed (libc6-dev)) ?
2) Your target. Which "arm - circuit" and other
information about your project.
3) Which embedded Linux and which tool - chain
are you using for your "arm - board" ??
(glibc version, please)

P.S.: Thread title could be something like
arm 9 board XXxx, etc.
