Cool Seeking recommendation: record audio with SBC

Hello,
My main computer has a high electrical noise floor, I've not yet been able to isolated the exact cause as removing components, aside from the disk drives and HDDs renders it inoperable.
I thought, "Since I needed an SBC anyway, why not get one and a nice audio HAT?" So, I started searching....
I only found HATs like this: https://store.pine64.org/?product=ro...c-add-on-board
They're nice equipment, but appear to only be for outputting audio. They seem to have no "line in" or "mic in".

As there are many RPI compatible boards an RPI compatible HAT would also do quite nicely.

Can you find anything that can do this?

Thanks!

Pretty sure you can record to a RPi, it has a line in/out 3.5mm socket, & USB for a mic - I'd likely use audacity as I'm familiar with it.

I often use SBC's to record audio. I've got a Presonus USB audiobox I use for that.
The biggest advantage is that it's silent compared to my noicy pc.
I also often use USB audio adapters on them with an audio-in and an audio-out. Works well.

I don't know if there are hats for this.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.
Fatmac's idea would work, provided that the SBC has a good audio chipset and layout for the audio lines, which I can't test without owning the SBC, and even then I'd have to figure out how to verify that the format I requested is not being dynamically generated by the SW, and is in fact provided by the HW.
NicoD's recommendation was for a product that would work. The drawback being that the box is much more then I need, which is just a dumb stereo-in line. This also means that the price is probably higher then what I'd pay for a simpler product.

Don't you really need a good digital microphone with a cable that is long enough to not pick up any computer sounds?
