Talking RCU- Read Copy Update

Hello,

I am using TMS320DM355 dev kit which is running Montavista Embedded Linux.
I want to write a C program that accepts RCU input to determine which command to printf via UART (e.g. 'left arrow" for ON, right arrow for OFF.

As I am a complete newbiw to this I would need some help and suggestions on how to do the above mentioned task.

Thanks in advance

I don't understand what you want to do exactly, but I think you should start with reading from this site: http://www.rdrop.com/users/paulmck/RCU/
