Please help me in downloading linux on SOM

I am doing a project- "Embedded Web server based on ARM9 using Linux". I am using SOM 2416-II(120 pins).
I wanted to download Linux 2.6 on this SOM. But I am very new to linux and I don't know how to download linux on SOM. Can anybody tell me the downloading steps of linux On SOM?

Which bootloader do you have?
