Performance analysis on embedded systems

Hi der,
I have just discovered some wonderful powers of Linux through some ssh stuff and pandaboard running ubuntu ... well I will be asking some questions as I wish to study power management and power analysis of small embedded systems like panda.

In fact something I would like to know is what tool do you recommend for analyzing performance of an embedded system and get some good clear results.

Thanks

Hello SiDeep and welcome to LQ.

Please, please, please ... use a title with a clear topic / question like "Tool for analyzing performance of an embedded system (panda)?". Else people will just think "Hello SiDeep" and move on, hello isn't a question.

Try to edit the title of your first post (and ask a moderator to move your thread) or create a new thread. Use the "embedded" (sub)-forum -- we got one, you know, and it's where the specialists for this question lurk . And please don't use 1337 leet-speech, this is quite an international forum (not to mention that you might annoy some people who otherwise could help).

Before you do all that please read http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html It is well worth the time . Again, welcome.

Moved: This thread is more suitable in <Linux-Embedded> and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves. Renamed in the process.
