Making SBC device for playing youtube music and radio stations
I'd like to make a Linux operated sbc based device
for playing online audio content like youtube music & radio stations.
I have a basic understanding of how a desktop PC works
plus more than a decade of using Linux - recently Debian.
Which single board computer do you reccommend ?
I have no electronic background or knowledge
but i am willing to learn

I own a first-generation Raspberry Pi with 512MB RAM and an ARM6 CPU. It is too weak for large Youtube videos, but has no problem with sound.
In other words, any SBC with sound output is fine.

Raspberry Pi SBC, it has it's own 'version' of Debian.
I'd point you toward one of the latest RPi4B boards.
Also, check out all the various projects that have already been done on these SBC boards.

yes, RPi4 can be a perfect solution. You can install a complete multimedia solution on it (like kodi).
