How would you create a wireless hotspot on a raspberry pi 2 model B running minibian?

I have tried following this tutorial: to create a wireless hotspot but when i get to the part where you use iptables i get the message: "modprobe: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod.c:557 kmod_search_moddep() could not open moddep file '/lib/modules/4.1.7-v7+/modules.dep.bin'
iptables v1.4.21: can't initialize iptables table `nat': Table does not exist (do you need to insmod?)
Perhaps iptables or your kernel needs to be upgraded."
I have no idea what to do now. can anyone help?
