how to install samba on uClinux?

I am using uClinux 2.4 on skyeye. I need to install samba on uClinux to share with my host (ubuntu). But I don't know how to do. Help me please!. Thanks a lot.

Maybe it's possible to install a SAMBA client on uClinux, but I think that it's far more easier to use the BUSYBOX's ftpput and ftpget commands, and set a FTP server on your UBUNTU host.

Yes. I can use uClinux with ftp. But I can not download file from ftp server (my host) with get command. Any suggestions?
I need to download file into uClinux/skyeye plz tell me how to download.
If I use genfroms, everything is ok. But It takes me a lot of time.

Not sure to understand what you mean. You can't do a "ftpget" from your uClinux box? If so, are you sure that you get the file you want into a writable directory? When I want to get some file on a read-only system, I get it in "/var" which is a ramdisk and is writable, as the rest of my system is read-only.
