How can I "Generate" a DTBS within windows.

Hello! I have access to the surface RT SPI interface for winbond chip. What use does this provide to port to surface RT????

Otherwise, how can I generate a devicetree source from within windows????? Because I can ONLY run windows on it currently.

troll?

chips often have development suites when you buy them: most are for ms windows only.

(that's why, in part, i have a win10 box. no choice)

google ...

"spi - Bus pirate interface with with winbond chip - Electrical ...
https://electronics.stackexchange.co...h-winbond-chip
I have successfully interfaced to my winbond chip via the bus pirate. I have successfully executed the chip identifier command and chip erase commands via spi, i would like to read and delete the chips security"

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...PsQI43HYZtIV0n

(might be a discussion on how to steal data from a flash memory, i suggest OP explain completely why he'd be trying to freak a flash card)

also: it's a "windows" question not a linux question, as the user professes he doesn't have linux. is the user pulling our legs?

the only people who "need to do that" likley are (chinese or japanese) to export these to the rest of the world. they don't need anyone's help on lq, i would remind everyone

the chips are worth < $1, for <$2 one can get a fast dac or even a small SoC

most people are happy buying a flash card for $5-$10 retail

Well, everyone in the UBPorts and Halium telegram group is always blah blah I need to JTAG for some reason. IDK why. I was legitimately curious.

However, I feel as my question is legitimate, I'd like to run armhf arch/ubuntu 12.04? on a surface RT it just lacks a devicetree blob.
