Finger Print scanner Device drivers and sdk used in angstrom OS.


I am new to the angstrom Os.I want to clarify the basics like ..its similar to linux or different.
what is teh ifference between sdk and device drivers?

Hi,

Angstrom is a Linux distribution aimed at embedded systems.
The software development kit consists of all software packages used for your development: toolchain, kernel, bootloader, rootfs, tools, drivers... So the device drivers may be part of the SDK.

Thanks for yr Response.I searched drivers for scanner and got it for linux and windows separately.
Shall i try linux driver for angstrom ?

If you have the driver source code for Linux, then you try to can cross-compile it for your platform.
