Dont you think there should be a OMXPLAYER GUI in the Raspbian repos ?
Hi,
As you know omxplayer is prettymuch the only working multimedia player under Raspbian.
Yet it has no GUI at least in the official repos.
Dont you think there should be a OMXPLAYER GUI in the Raspbian repos ?
I never install packages from random places.

Maybe this will help-
https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.co...-for-omxplayer
I didn't find a GUI for Omxplayer in the Raspbian Repo.
Gomx GUI for the Raspberry Pi's omxplayer gomx is a light GUI for the hardware accelerated omxplayer. It's done in Python using Tk. It allows you to move, resize, and hide(when you minimize) the video window.

***If those links don't help try writing to Edgar Hucek he's the creator/developer of Omxplayer.***

I hope for you they include a GUI for Omxplayer. If they don't I encourage you to write to the developer.
