bluetooth before operating system loads
hi, is there a board (x86 based preferred) where the bios allows bluetooth connections before the operating system loads (i.e. before linux or windows starts) ?
perhaps i can get what i want from a grub command prompt. thanks |
I have certainly never heard of such a thing. What exactly are you trying to do?

i remember 5 years ago when it was hard (or impossible) to boot from a usb harddrive because most bios's simply did not acknowledge the usb port (it was a function of the operating system to mount the harddrive thru a usb driver or something).
i was hoping to accomplish a bluetooth boot. also bluetooth mouse/ keyboard/ remote... control would be nice either thru bios or from grubs basic command line. |
You want to boot to Bluetooth?
No, there is certainly no BIOS setting to do that. |
so i guess i have to get creative. maybe there is some sort of dongle (sounds like a dirty word) that can fool a pc into thinking it is actually a plain old usb drive.
