BeagleBone - kernel stuck at "Starting kernel..."


Hello,
I have been trying to compile kernel for BeagleBone Black using Angstrom build system. Have tried lot of different things which came to my mind but will describe one of them which i think should most likely be working.

I have compiled kernel via (http://github.com/Angstrom-distribut...up-scripts.git - v2014.12 release) as it is described at their website:

(I have tried to compile kernel directly from github.com/beagleboard/linux but with same result)

I'm using image Angstrom-Cloud9-IDE-GNOME-eglibc-ipk-v2012.12-beaglebone-2013.06.20.img on my beaglebone and my idea is that i will take uImage and copy it instead of original one in /boot/ but it gets stuck at "Starting kernel...". I have tried using different dtb files the ones compiled with this kernel and the original ones.

(It is not because of bad console output it's really stuck)

Breakdowns right there usually mean a dodgy kernel binary. It seem like the system found it, tried it, and puked.

Suspect configuration, instruction set, various options, and linux headers. Also (as I gather you're cross compiling)check the correct versions of everything are there. Last heard, that was detailed in the Readme, but it's been a while.

I had a similar issue with a cubietruck and the sunxi main kernel. The board was not fully supported and I had to use the sunxi-next kernel. Cant find the page on linux-sunxi right now. Can you hook up a serial connection? It ought to print something like can't find device or something. But it is only printed on serial and not early printk or other options from kernel or uboot.
