yum in SUSE??


ok, I know SUSE has something called YAST.. but can I actually use YUM in SUSE?? cos, I wanna to try this distro out... ^^

Try YaST, you'll love it... I came from RH9 and FC2 and MAN is it better. (IMHO.)
as for using yum... I'm sure you can install it, it's just a program. I highly suggest at least trying YaST though, you'll never look back @ rh/fc. I haven't.

If you want help configuring things, just lemme know.

i haven't heard of YUM being used in SUSE but i have used APT.
check here on how to install APT for SUSE:
