I have a slight problem, i had an old Mac PowerBook 3400c laying around....well i decided to install YDL on it last month. i downloaded Yellowdog 2.3 and installed it....deleted the mac partitions on the hard drive, because i didn't want a dual boot. the install went fine, but when i boot up the Mac, i only get the mac "?". Now i have heard to try to go into the Openfirmware and try to boot the vmlinux.coff file from the floppy drive....well when i try that either the drive times out or it says it can't open it.


so does anyone have any tricks to solve this problem that i have without having to wipe the hard drive?


any help would be great.
