Hey
wasnt sure if here or general but here goes,
i have googed this and searched these forums, but instead of buying a second computer for my room i was just going to get a second xbox.
Do the software hack on it and then network it to my box.
I was going to put Xbox Media Centre on it, but i coodnt find the answer to this anywhere,
Can i play network files on my xbox, eg. play the movies off my pc through my xbox then onto my tv in my room?
Thats reli it, o and has anyone done this before here and how easy to set it up is it?
Distribution: Arch Linux 2007.05 "Duke" (Kernel 2.6.21)

I believe that you could (logically) stream the files off of your PC, although I don't know exactly how it's done. However, it will require a SAMBA connection or a local network (wired) throughout the room
