Question Window manager settings on Red Hat 9

I just downloaded the Xpde manager form I want to install it... what do I need to do? Is there a simple directory that it instals in? thx

Well... I checked out your link and the instructions say to uncompress it and read the INSTALL file. Have you done that yet?

Start with this.

bash2.05$ tar -xzvf xpde-0.3.5-20030426.tar.gz

Then change into the newly created directory.

bash2.05$ cd xpde-0.3.5-20030426

Then read the README file

bash2.05$ vi README

Contintue following instructions.

once i took a look at it just uncompress it and then changed my .xinitrc file to execute the binary and thats all i didi
