You're right, Chris. This is getting too much like Slashdot. Seriously, this guy is trolling quite a bit here and on a couple of other threads. I thought this site was for helping others w/ Linux, not deriding their distro of choice.

What the hell were you doing posting a link like that to thread dealing with September 11th? Do you think you were being funny? Perhaps if you lost someone to the attacks you wouldn't get some much of a chuckle out of it, would you now? As for immature does this " I'm sorry if you only have the brain capacity to use Mandrake.." count as a sign of your maturity? This is a forum for people to help each other with Linux, not for some teenager to crow about how he uses Slackware and post porn links to a thread dealing with September 11th. I'd love to put you in a fighting hole in Camp Rhino and see if you thought that was a real job or if September 11th was funny then. Go hide behind your Slackware and brag to someone else about you're a badass hardcore Linux hacker. However, if you come out to Camp Pendleton, I can promise I'll shut you up quick, fast, and in a hurry.

Hey bax, Navy dude here. You call me DOC. This guy is like acne, if you stop picking at it, it will eventually go away. Just let him vent about his bad encounter with a great newbie distro, and pretty soon the thread would go down to the bottom of the list. No need to get all worked up, then you will just have to go to sick call, and then come see me. I'm the corpsman in the pharmacy.

Just a side note for ya bax... Next time you stop by the pharmacy, tell the corpsman thanks, or just shake his/her hand. That is the coolest thing ever. I was stationed in Camp Lejeune NC for a while, and I would gladly go back to being with you guys. Thanks for what you do for all of us.

hackers, your arguments are second to everyone, and quite frankly I find your posts insulting, and in case you haven't read the user policy here it is : http://www.linuxquestions.org/rules.php

I think that you should read that before posting again, because you obviously have no idea.

Particularly the points on personal attacks, and contructive posts - both of which I think apply to you.

This goes for everyone who posts here at the forums, and they are not there to make up the links on the pages.
