Just try them all and see which one you like best. That's all that matters.

I prefer Slackware, but any one of them should be good.
|
IMHO, Debian stable and/or testing would be the easiest to maintain of the three.
|
I doubt you will see much difference regarding speed between these distros.
I would prefer Slackware, but I am biased. |

Thanks for the reply, Slackware is the distro I basically due to like best .. but there is one thing that keeps me away, My laptop gets really hot.
|
And this is slackware-specific ? If so, post the issue with details in another thread and maybe it can be solved.
|
I would recommend Arch, but I'm biased. :)
It's very minimal but still has a dependency-handling package manager. |

I'd go with Arch or Debian netinstall. I like automatic dependency resolution. And those do happen to be my favorite 2 OS's.

Been trying Debian the last 24 hours, slackware the last week and Arch the last 6 months..
And my conclution is.. Arch.. Really like it for it speed and package manager.. Like Debian for is`s Speed And slackware just because it`s slackware! Even slackware is the slowest of them.. |

Yeah, if you have any benchmarks I'd like to see them. ;)
