Yeah, but at least it has a manual .
If you follow the instructions, you can't go wrong.

Im Also a Windoze 2 Linux convert!

After many windows headaches mainly due to spyware,adware,trojans,viruses.....and the usual crap that comes with using the net alot with XP. I Decided to take a Giant leap of faith and and kiss goodbye to bill gates and his horde of money grabbing minions.

Ive tried many distros to date, OpenSUSE 10,FC3,FC4,CentOS 4.1,Mandriva, & a few more smaller distros whoose names i forget...lol. I finally found my Current distro of choice (BLAG 30000) Tried the new 40000 Alpha but it was to unstable for my newbie skills to handle.

So if you like Fedora Core 3 Or 4 Give BLAG a GO! I Guarantee you wont be dissapointed.

MP3.AVI,P2P,and much much more.

Just found this little Gentoo based linux distro for n00bs like myself that want to give gentoo a bash without the headaches of a text installer! VLOS uses the same installer as Fedora,Redhat (Anaconda Installer)

http://desktop.vidalinux.com/index.p...tpage&Itemid=1

or the next link for an older release that includes the Athlon XP optimized ISO`s

http://mirrors.hpcf.upr.edu/ftp/pub/...entooAnaconda/

This is 1 of the few distros ive come across that have Athlon XP Optimized ISO`s usefull as i have an OLD....lol Athlon XP 3200+

If you're a newbie, avoid Gentoo for now, the installation from stage 1 takes about 4 days and loads of nerves. The result is quite nice though

Go for Mepis, Mandriva or Knoppix. My start with Red Hat 9 was ok.
