which distribution to install???
I want install a linux distribution, but i don't know which one.

My advice would be to use a Live CD for a few days... Get to know Linux a bit.

These three threads are posted just below yours. Look around this site and use the search feature. If you let the members decide for you, you will probably become confused by the sheer(sp) number of distro out there. As

If you are new to Linux try Linspire....

Gentoo and Debian are good, both are pretty advanced distros but once it's all setup, installing new software is so incredibly simple it hurts sometimes ;) Almost as easy as a Mac :p
