Hi. Which distribution supports D-Link DWL-G520 wireless adapter PCI card? I could not find the answer on the hardware compatibility list.
If none support it out of box and I have to compile kernel code, does the 6 CD or 1 DVD pack of Mandrake linux available for example at linuxcdshop come with source code?
I knew someone that had this card. They could not get it to work with fedora core 3. So they installed SuSE and it worked. I prefer SuSE now over mandrake. You could try a suse liveCD to see if it works.
Any distribution should support any card, as the support has to do with the kernel. Some may however not detect and auto-configure the card properly. You will need to do that yourself.
